This part of the wiki is intended to become a comprehensive reference manual for the C library as defined by the ISO Standard. It is also intended that it contain portable (as far as is possible) implementations of library functions, and where portable code is not possible, that non-portable components are neatly separated. This section is distinct from the part of the wiki that documents the syntax of the C language itself.
