This category lists the fundamental types defined by the C Standard - i.e. the language itself rather than its supporting standard library. Other types are required by the Standard to be defined by the library; each of those types is based on a typedef of one of the fundamental types. Those types are categorised under extended types, as well as under the library header(s) that define each type.
