It appears that the only difference between this version and K&R's text (in K&R2_solutions:Ancillary:Polish_calculator) is changing the type of buf from char to int. Assuming this is the case, shouldn't it be mentioned? I looked up the answer because I found it hard to believe that simple change was all that was being asked, so if it is, we should explicitly mention it so people are not confused. -- JesseW 20:30, 3 July 2007 (BST)

It would be actually nice to explain what problem is adressed by solution. Anyway, solution by Jesus Alvarez seems to break loops (and therefor programs) triggered to terminate on EOF. I can't imagin any useful case for it. --Czarkoff 19:29, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
