Programming

I'm an avid programmer, my current two languages of choice being C and C++ (but never C/C++). I started programming in Applesoft Basic on a Laser 128 handed down by my grandfather for my 5th birthday. During secondary school I used MS QuickBasic, and also dabbled in Turbo Pascal. At university I have studied Eiffel, C, C++, Java, PHP, JavaScript and now Prolog.

Chinese

I also have a deep interest in the Chinese language, which I have studied at secondary and tertiary level for a total of over 10 years. I speak Mandarin fluently and can read and type Chinese characters.
